The places on this tour are the places that no one has written about in mainstream guidebooks, however the owners of the company have captured them all in a small book also titled "Istanbul Eats".
The city tour lasts approximately 6 hours, and has about 12 different stops along the way. It is like packing a week's worth of eating into 6 hours. The tour begins at the Spice Market and snakes down the alleys that are filled with stands selling all kinds of local favorites. You visit small coffee shops and get a lesson in brewing famous Turkish coffee, not to mention several restaurants and tea-shops in various parts of the city.
